Zi Jian which written by Li Wenzhong, is a important work of "Zi Yang Xue" in Yuan dynasty.Differentiating and analyzing pronunciation、pattern and meaning of standardized form of chinese characters, distinguishing character variants of regular script and showing misuses of regular script in other Zi Shu and Yun Shu, Concept of chinese characters-collation better than work of Zi Yang Xue " in the Sui and Tang dynasties. However, Zi Jian has not aroused enough attention. By means of a brief analysis which comprise standardized form of chinese characters and Vulgar characters in the Zi Jian in the text, affirming its historical contribution and value on the history of Philology. The article is divided into four parts:The first part is the introduction of authors and stylistic rules and layout of Zi Jian,as well as background、the book version、research survey、 the research motive and purpose.From the chinese characters included、the source of the arranging principle and the difference between standardized form of chinese characters and Variant of Chinese characters, The second part discusess scope and principle of characters recorded、 stylistic rules and layout of Zi Jian and style of explanation in Zi Jian.the third part, On a target for standardized form of chinese characters and Variant of chinese characters,The article analyse Zi Ji,quantity、nature and shape of standardized form of chinese characters and Variant of chinese characters.The focus is analysis of shape which are from contradistinction between standardized form of chinese characters and Variant of chinese characters.The fourth part:On one hand, comparing Zi Jian with Ganlu Zishu on standardized form of chinese characters and Variant of characters, to reveal regularity, features and reasons of font’ varieties. on the other hand, comparing Zi Jian with Ci Yuan on chinese characters, to study evolve of chinese characters’ shape, proving "orthography has stronger vitality "," character is not standard font ". So, from the diachronic aspect, linking up the Tang Dynasty, Yuan Dynasty, and modern on characters’ use, to achieve huge meaning which is seek out source and quest trend.
