A Comparative Research On The Vulgar Characters Of Historic Literature From Heishuicheng Kept In China And Dunhuang Vulgar Dictionary

This article sorts out and analyzes the research results of the vulgar characters included in the Historic literature from Heishuicheng kept in China(all ten volumes,abbreviated as Heishuicheng kept in China),and compared with the vulgar characters included in the Dunhuang Vulgar Dictionary which can fully reflect the research results of Dunhuang vulgar characters on the types and forms.In comparative research,it explores the reasons for the similarities and differences between the types of vulgar characters and the forms of vulgar characters.On the one hand,this paper sorts out the vulgar characters in the two documents into five types of vulgar characters:simplified glyphs,complex glyphs,variation and replacement,translocation and overall creation.On this basis,a comparison of the proportions of the words,the forms,and the types of the vulgar characters is carried out.The analysis shows that the main reason for the similarities and differences between the two kinds of literature is the development law of Chinese characters,such as the simplification trend of the development of Chinese characters,the stability of Chinese characters.In addition,it is also affected by social environment,font evolution,and regional factors.On the other hand,in comparative research,this paper sorts out the common vulgar characters included in both types of literature,and chooses the representative vulgar characters that match and those who don’t match.Then this article uses methods such as radical analysis,inductive analogy,etc.and refer to Shuowenjiezi,Ganluzishu,the vulgar characters spectrum Since Song and Yuan Dynasties and other books,conducts comprehensive research and analysis,explores the evolution of vulgar characters,and analyzes the subjective and objective reasons for this phenomenon.The comparative research on the vulgar characters of Historic literature from Heishuicheng kept in China and Dunhuang Vulgar Dictionary which can fully reflect the research results of Dunhuang vulgar characters is of great significance to both the study of vulgar characters and the study of Chinese characters.In the study of vulgar characters,this paper can add the number and forms of vulgar characters,and add new materials to the study of vulgar characters,and summarize the writing rules and characteristics of vulgar characters.In the study of Chinese characters,the completeness of the study of vulgar characters also means that the study of Chinese characters will be further completed.Therefore,this paper is the enrichment of the Chinese graphology,and it also provides a reference for the standardization and simplification of Chinese characters.
