Research On Women In The Tang Dynasty Through Thousands Of Published Women Epitaphs

The research of Women history was a hot issue of historical circle, in China,especially the research of Women in the tang dynasty became a climax in20thcentury. Women played an important role in creating human and history, their historywas closely related to the social system and age characteristics. It can reflect the socialand culture features through the research of women’s marriage, education, religionbeliefs in tang dynasty and their roles and action rules in life. Through thousands ofpublished women epitaphs in the tang dynasty, this paper mainly discussed the livingconditions and social position of women in the Tang dynasty, a patriarchal society,from marriage, education and religion beliefs. Meanwhile it used some scholar’sresearch results.This paper was mainly divided into the following parts:Chapter1: introduction, it included research status, epitaphs of women in the Tangdynasty and the reasons of choosing the topic.Chapter2: women’s marriage in the Tang dynasty, it discussed various aspects ofwomen in marriage in the Tang dynasty;Chapter3: women’s art and sports in the Tang dynasty, it mainly describeddynasty of women lives in the Tang dynasty;Chapter4: women’s religion beliefs in the Tang dynasty, it mainly discussed thewomen’s spirit world in the Tang dynasty;Chapter5: conclusion: epitaph can be collected and sorted extensively, there isconsiderable room for study.
