Researches On Pipa Concerto <Chunqiu>

Tang Jianping is one of the most important composers of this generation in China.His Pipa Concerto “Chunqiu” composed in1994is his master work earnedwidespread respects all over the world. According to analyze the compositiontechniques of this work, I carded the utilize of Tang Jianping’s music language andstyle characteristics, and summarized Tang Jianping’s creative concepts, compositionfeatures and his works’ art features.This thesis divided into6chapters. The introduction mainly introduces theissue’s research sauté, theoretical and practical significance, key and difficult as wellas research methods. In the first chapter, I gave an outline of Tang Jianping’s processof composition, and the background of this Pipa Concerto. The second chapter isfocused on the music structures, and its characteristics. I elaborated the form of itscore motivation and the features of its rhythm in Chapter three. Chapter four exploresthe language of multi-musical parts from the musical texture in this work. In the fifthchapter, I pay more attention to its tone-color’s attempt.And the last chapter Isummarized his aesthetic ideology—“harmony in diversity” and “Unity of Man andNature”. This thesis analyzes this work of Tangjianping, carding and summarized hismanner of composition to let the increasing numbers of music lovers understandTangjianping’s advanced and individualized works. It is true that there are plenty ofdevelopment and progress in the composition of Pipa Concertos. Regardless of itsevolution, they can’t live with our Chinese traditional cultures. We should undertakethis historical mission that our works should be based on the traditional culture, andwork persistently toward this noble goal.
