A Grammar Study Of Qunjing Pingyi

Yu Yue(俞樾)is famous for his study of Confucian classics,philology and textual criticism.His works was always in the form of reading notes,with his profound ideas about Confucian classics and the thinkers.Qunjing Pingyi(《群经平议》)is a representative work of his own academic achievement,meanwhile,is also one of the greatest representative works of the academic achievement in Late Qing Dynasty.Under every scripture,he put detailed notes to check the punctuation and literal meaning,analyze the special appearance of grammar and rhetoric,like word flexible uses,object anastrophe,and so on,with many subtle findings.This book is also called as his achievement of collating and explaining classics.He had said that his book could be compared with Jingyi Shuwen(《经义述闻》)by Wang Yinzhi(王引之).This article from the perspective of the history of Chinese grammar knowledge with the help of modern Chinese grammar theory,is proposed to select the group of the comments in Qunjing Pingyi(《群经平议》),Chunqiu Zuozhuani(《春秋左传》),Chunqiu Gongyangzhuan(《春秋公羊传》),Chunqiu Guliangzhuan(《春秋谷梁传》),Guoyu(《国语》)the view of grammar materials as the research object,a comprehensive system of digging the grammar concepts.Mainly from the following several aspects to analyze Yu Yue concept of grammar type,namely,analysis of parts of speech,word formation,of speech,word order,grammar,word order,grammar,semantics,context and syntax analysis method.Text adopts the method of combining analysis and description,the research of each kind of lexical,syntactic actual cases,and then according to the common semantic grammar characteristics of qualitative and categorize them.In the text of Yu Yue,there have been some outstanding reflect Yu Yue grammar concepts terminology,such as Moumouming(某某名),Yuci(语词)understanding of parts of speech;Chongyan(重言),Danyan(单言),Dieyun(叠韵)to show the understanding of word formation;Wodaoqiwen(误到其文)shows Yuyue understanding of word order;Wenfa Yili(文法一例)shows Yu Shi knowledge of grammar.It is of big theory significance and academic value to dig the grammar senses of his book roundly and systematically that we can enrich the materials of Chinese history of linguistics on grammar, and deeply show the contribution of Yu Yue on this subject.
