Tobacco is the world’s most popular and widely used drug, but unlike heroin whichresults in rapid and visible damage, tobacco is more likely to be overlooked by people.According to the survey, approximately50%of smokers have controlled smoking, but less than4%people really controlled smoking. Tobacco addiction has become a challenge in clinicalpsychological treatment because of its difficult and repeat, and many scholars also have madevarious researches on the basis of addiction theory, brain mechanism, Pharmacology, genetics, psychological and action intervention, but in psychological intervention area there has not beenobvious breakthrough, so it is shown that there are still needs for further and broader researcheson tobacco addiction intervention.Through the studies on mechanism and theory model of tobacco addiction, researchersgenerally believe that attentional bias and addiction memory related to cues of tobacco addictionare two key points that can lead to giving up tobacco addiction. If we can find some methods thatintervene on addiction memories and attentional bias of tobacco abstainers,we can cut off thelink between tobacco use cognition and behavior, so,we will reduce tobacco dependence oftobacco use behavior, improve the effect of psychological intervention of tobacco dependenceThis research mainly include two experiments to explore the intervention on addictionmemories and attentional bias of tobacco abstainers. The first experiment is trying to understandwhether tobacco abstainers ’ attentional bias are different in the positive mood state and positiveemotional State can be able to reduce or eliminate tobacco addicts ’ attentional bias.In the secondexperiment a forgetting paradigm is used to explore whether directed forgetting effect on tobaccoaddicts exists and it has an effect on addiction memory. The analysis of the experimentalresults can lead to the following conclusions:1.Tobacco addicts ’ attentional bias changed in positive mood state and positive emotions caneliminate tobacco addicts ’ attentional bias.2. Tobacco addicts have directed forgetting and directed forgetting can interfere with theaddiction memories. To sum up, the interventions on attentional bias and addiction memory are effective. If theexperimental conclusions can apply to clinical psychological effective. If the experimentalconclusions can apply to clinical psychological treatment, that will be able to broaden tobaccodependence interventions, improving the effect of intervention.
