"Imitation" and "innovation" is an enduring and controversial topic in a long timelasting in the field of vocal music study. For cognition of two words-"imitation" and"innovation" to appear in the same field at the same time but the meaning is opposite,not only many beginners are vague and even many teachers for their attitude also isdifferent, some teachers promote "innovation", for "imitation" they shun, they think"imitation" not art, this way of rigid, mechanical learning hindered the developmentof students’ personality and characteristics, also can let the learning of vocal music ismeaningless, and they hold firmly negative attitude. While the other part of theteacher is too much emphasizing the role of imitation in vocal music learning process,for speak in class, the content of the audio and video materials or famous singing arerequire just right, from pronunciation to tone and the depth of the breathing requiresperfectly exact, for students to have personality and characteristics of the things thatdo not encourage it, and considered to be aggressive and revolt. Over time it make thestudents lose myself, can’t see their road of development, in fact it is also not desirable.Actually everyone has his own advantages,"imitation" and "innovation" as well, the"imitation" is not only the first things first of beginners, even many great masters inthe vocal music circles are gradually birth in certain practice imitating too. Of course,the learning of vocal music start to imitate, but it is not end to imitation, the imitationout of innovation is no way out. So how to treat the imitation in the learning of vocalmusic? how to imitate?imitate to which stage?the relationship between imitation andinnovation?how to foster creative thinking so as to realize the innovation in theimitation?is the main content of this thesis.
