Research On The Creation Of The Medical Drama In The New Era

Nowadays，there is a growing public concern on health care and the relationshipbetween medical personnel and patients. With the improvement of people’s livingquality and their health awareness, a kind of TV series focused on those issuesemerges as the times requires and have already become popular to some extent. Thispaper selects the most representative TV series from what have been broadcasted sofar and maily analyzes such kind of TV series from the three aspects: its practicaldevelopment, the features of its content and narrating style and the difficulties on itscreation.Firstly, this paper does some research on the works and references of medicaldrama and other relevent works on the creation of TV series, on ways of contentexpression and narration in particular, get the information of the research trends athome and make definations on some relevent nouns. By analyzing the differencesand similarities between the medical drama at home and such TV series in Americaas well as the other professional TV series and combining the development featureson the domestic TV series, I make my own demonstration on the domestic medicaldrama. Furthermore, the paper outlines the development of medical drama at homeand abroad and makes a conclusion of its developing trends at present.The paper not only studies a large number of texts about local medical dramaloading on the domestic screen around this years, but also analyzes the characters,the stories and the creation demands in those texts. Based on this groundwork, thecontent features of the domestic medical drama are analyzed through studying thefigure construction of the medical personnel and the image of the relationshipbetween medical personnel and patients. In the result, the paper analyzes thenarrating features of the domestic medical drama based on the studies of thearrangement of conflicts, the features of the structures and clues and the space ofcreation.In the end, the author makes a brief analysis on the bottleneck of its creation ofthe domestic medical drama and explores the trends of it. The author think that theissue of medical treatment constantly injected with new content will entail thedomestic TV series a newer way of performance and expression, which will offer agreater potential for its future development.
