Medical drama refers to "The narrative background of the hospital or the consulting room,take the doctor and the patient as the narrative subject,and as the main line throughout the melodrama series." With realism as the principle of creation and the combination of specialized medical techniques,and including the relationship between the Doctor-patient Conflict and so on as the starting point of the TV plot.To a certain extent,it meets the audience's curiosity and desire to see the medical profession.Japanese medical TV dramas have now become a mature production model which have a certain value of research.This paper focuses on the study of the contemporary development of Japanese medical drama.Taking the Code Blue Doctor-heli series as the research object,this paper examines the drama based on the social background of the establishment of the Japanese emergency helicopter system.Take the real object of "flight doctor" as the narrative subject.The TV show has come out through the realism of the documentary image style.Based on narrative analysis,film and television skills and new realism aesthetics,this paper explains its narrative theme,narrative structure,narrative perspective and characterization.And then,In the new realism features of the image narrative are studied from the aspects of the artistic structure,the features of the documentary style and the method of realistic creation,which analyzed the communication of the audience and the acceptance of art in our country.Compared to other medical dramas in Japan.It is concluded that the Code Blue Doctor-heli has the new realistic aesthetic characteristics and the news style documentary aesthetic image style.This is the aesthetic characteristic of Japanese medical drama in the present.
