Research On Doctor Image In Domestic Medical Documentary Film

Since ancient times,the mission of the healer has been to help the world and save lives.They use medical knowledge that ordinary people do not understand to treat patients and make consultations,which adds to the mystery of the doctor’s image.In an era when information is difficult to exchange and medical treatment is limited,the criterion for good doctors is to relieve their illness and save lives.However,with the development of the times and changes in life needs,people’s tolerance for medicine has begun to decrease.Coupled with reports of conflicts caused by improper operations by individual doctors,the image of doctors has become increasingly negative from the public’s perspective.Once a doctor-patient conflict occurs,the public will habitually stand on the side of the patient and demand changes in the health care community.This is very unfavorable to the harmonious development of society and the creation of a healthy and medical environment.With such a social background,medical documentaries have begun to attract more and more people’s attention and discussion.Most of the current medical-themed documentary creation methods are panoramic documentary shooting in hospitals,using young audiovisual language to tell medical stories.Abandoning the image-building strategy used in traditional news reports,through the record of the daily work and emotional expression of medical staff,it shows a more vivid and diverse image of doctors,and it is easier to enter the audience to resonate.This is more conducive to alleviating the current tense doctor-patient relationship,prompting everyone to empathize and understand each other.This research first adopts the literature research method,and summarizes and organizes the concept and development history of medical documentary films in the second chapter.The purpose is to sort out the research background and delimit the research scope.Using the case analysis method,in Chapter 3,through the audiovisual analysis of domestic medical documentaries such as "Human World","The Destiny of Life",and "The Gate of Life",from four perspectives,the image of doctors in domestic medical documentaries is presented.Communicators who suffer from conflict,those who seek the cause of disease,The soothing person who heals emotions,the helpless person who is unable to grasp.In the fourth chapter,through the neutral perspective to construct the doctor’s image,the life and death plot to show the doctor’s character,the audio-visual language to express the doctor’s emotion,the art clip to highlight the doctor’s character,etc.summarized the shaping strategy of the domestic medical documentary doctor’s image.And in the fifth chapter,it is concluded that the image of doctors in domestic medical documentaries has the creative value of restoring the status quo of doctors,popularizing basic medical care,and reshaping the image of doctors.Finally,the sixth chapter uses the creative practice method,starting from the personal work "Emergency Doctor" to make a creative elaboration.
