China and South Korea have a common cultural factor and similar custom. But, after all,there are a lot of differences. These cultural similarities and differences are also reflected in thetwo national languages of Chinese and Korean, and in the expression of the Chinese and Korean.Study of Chinese and Korean can take place from many aspects, this study takes culturallinguistics as a starting point, a comparative study of the word for Chinese and Korean animalsymbolism. In the study, we have selected seven animal words common to compare, these wordsinclude the horse, dragon, cow, dog, rat, tiger and chicken. Animal Words by Chinese and Koreancomparative analysis is to discover the same and difference point of Chinese and Korean peoplein cultural and the reasons for these differences. To do this, first study based on the performanceof different the inspection object classification, then the animal words of Chinese and Koreancultural semantics.The study found that Chinese and Korean cultural backgrounds, customs and ethics havesimilarities, and so has a similar way of thinking, resulting in the animal word symbolic functionsimilar. However, independent of the development process, due to the impact of the respectivenational habits and living environment will naturally produce a different place. Korean affected byChinese by innovation, thus created a lot of Chinese and Korean animal symbolism of the word indifferent forms, and the same significance Reasons for such differences, from cultural,geographical factors, cultural practices such as perspective for analysis. From the culturalperspective, the animal symbolism of the word spread from China to South Korea in the process,adding the Korean local culture; from a geographic perspective, the two different geographicalconditions and the environment, and therefore lead to a language of expression is also different;cultural practices from the side, the two peoples have been profound influence of Confucianism in the Han Culture on Korea cultural exchange and influence, it is also into a lot of Korean culture,reflecting the characteristics of Korean culture.
