With the continuous exchange of the world culture and fusion, the domestic pop musicalso presented the pluralistic culture. Analysis of Chinese pop music, we can not ignore theimpact of Shanghai popular music culture of China’s overall pop music culture. From theperspective of modern music history, Shanghai this place is the western popular music tothe important juncture in our country, but also in the local more creators flexible theseexotic art technique of re creation, scientific, reasonable, thus forming a new forms of artsongs, greatly enrich and satisfy the social masses live entertainment. Here, we study on thepopular song Shanghai thirty or forty years, more comprehensive highlights the features in aspecific historical period music culture and creation, which can be specialized and scientificunderstanding of popular music, have a more profound understanding and the understandingto the pop music, but also help us in the future to pop music culture has a more profoundexperience, so as to guide the singing teaching and art practice.In this paper, a comprehensive analysis of the five part of popular songs of the thirty orforty’s of last century are: the first part is the part; the second part is the analysis of therepresentative track form structure, music works in different constituencies form, a singletwo musical forms, single trilogy were illustrated. The third part studies on Shanghai popsong creation thinking, is mainly to discuss the two aspects of influence from western musicand writing techniques. The fourth part is the analysis of the style of Shanghai pop songs,singing method, selected Li Minghui Zhou Xuan, Gong Qiuxia, Yao Li, Bai Hong, et al.Analysis of the white light. The fifth force is the exploration of Shanghai pop songs spreadmechanism, produced far-reaching effect propagation of song and dance halls, song agency,radio, film of popular songs.
