The college students are on the period of interim, and their romantic relationship areunstable. Every time of breaking up is an important event for the growth because of thefrequency of the lovelorn. The breaking-up is losing the lover, as well as the personal identity.I t results in the feeling of failure and the breaking-up person have no perfect way to solve it.So, in this period, the students are easy to get injured. Hence, the youth should be focusedbecause of the important and special interim period. All in all, most of us may experience thebreaking up of the close relationship, so it’s meaningful to explore this issue.This current research chooses one of the whole relationship’s stages---loveloreperiod---to explore, and also the45students as subjects. The person who is breaking up couldhave the negtive emotion. Then the question is what the cognitive mode of the break-ups forthe lovelorn-related thing is. And what is the difference among the time courses and why?This current paper researches the cognitive time courses and the causes about thebreaking-up related stimulus among the breaking-ups by two researches. The research1foundthat the breaking-ups’ attentional mode without any experimental treatment is: Directionalbias,Accelerated detection,Original attention avoidance,Overall attention maintain. After theemotion priming, their attentional mode is: Directional bias,Accelerated detection,Originalattention maintain,Overall attention avoidance. And in this aspect, they have significantdifference with the control group. This means the breaking-ups are sensitive and vigilance andhave a special feeling to the “breaking-up related stimulus”.This reason above is explored by the research2. This paper found the breaking-upsconfuse the cognition and emtion about the love related stimulus. And this result couldexplain the research1.Because of the mixture of the cognition and emotion; the breaking-upshave a prominent difference with the control group. They experince more emotional aspect, sothey store the memory in the SAM.
