Comparison of Thai negative adverbs with Chinese negativeAdverbs “bu”and“mei”, in meaning and structure, Thai negative adverbs arerelatively simple while Chinese negative adverbs “bu and“mei”are multiple.Becauseof these differences,Thai students usually make errors in learning Chinese NegativeAdverbs “bu” and “mei”.And so far,there are no systematic studies,no practicalexperience and no special teaching methods for Thai students in learning chinesenegative adverb.Therefore I think it is necessary to compare and analyze Chinesenegative adverbs.And then put forward some teaching methods in learning Chinesenegative adverbs.Based on the the previous studies, I have discussed the difference betweenChinese negative adverbs “bu” and “mei” in pragmatic and structure characteristicswhich clarify the Chinese negative words “bu” and “mei” in differences. Byanalyzing the Chinese negative adverbs “bu” and “mei” to Thai negative adverbs, Ifind their common points, different points and corresponding relationship. And then,I find key factors of the biased error of Thai student learning Chinese negativeadverbs “bu”and “mei”, based on the practical teaching of the error analysis. Thatkey factors is that Thai students are frequently difficult to distinguish the Chinesenegative adverbs “bu” and “mei” in various pragmatic meaning. Finally, on thebasis of thinking highly semantic and situation for teaching I put forward for themethod of teaching Thai students about learning Chinese negative adverbs “bu” and“mei”.
