Research On Li Da’s Contribution To The Philosophy Thought Of Mao Zedong

In history, Mao Zedong and Li Da had a very close communication and relationship on philosophy ideology and this relationship last quite a long historical period. They both occupied a very important position in the history of China Marxism. Li Da’s philosophy thoughts especially his translation books played an important role on the formation and development of Mao Zedong’s philosophy idea. In the1920s and1930s, Li Da published his translation books of "the dialectic materialism tutorial" and "Outline of Sociology" which greatly boosted the formation and development of Mao Zedong’s philosophy idea and it also contributed to enrich Mao Zedong’s Thought. In book of "Outline of materialist dialectics" Li Da indicated the law of the unity of opposites is the essence of the dialectics, which inspired Mao Zedong to rethink the core laws of dialectics. Besides, Li Da’s book of "Outline of Sociology full featured of national characteristics, which provided a new perspective for Mao Zedong to understand Marxist theory, also built a theory bridge for Mao Zedong to write " On Contradiction. In the1950s and1960s, Li Da’s book "Commentary of Practical Theory and "Commentary of Contradiction" greatly complemented and developed Mao Zedong Thought. Li Da supplemented many points and views on Mao Zedong Thought and Mao Zedong also agreed many points he raised. For example, Li Da pointed out that subjective error existed in socialism construction and raised a lot of criticism about it, which inspired Mao to rethink the ideology route and resumed to the route of seeking truth from facts. In addition, Li Da made a great contribution on promoting Mao Zedong Thought, not only in the Party but also in workers and students.In a word, Li Da provided important academic resources for the formation and development of Mao Zedong Thought and his translation books are the medium for Mao Zedong to study and understand Marxism. Li Da’s philosophy books with full demonstrations of theory and featured Mao Zedong Thought. It played an important role on promoting spread of Mao Zedong Thought.
