Singing is to create impressive musical images and make the songs change variously with smooth breath through language and artistical pronunciation, which will gladden people’s hearts and refresh their minds. When singing a song,"word" is the content of the song;"breath" is the carrier of the sound;"emotion" is the embodiment of the content;"sound" is the exchanges of the emotions. They are the one, with no one can be dispensed with. No purely abstract singing voice exists. They all have contents to express sentiments or thoughts. Therefore,"word","breath","emotion" and "sound" are the essence of sound art, and they bear an independent containment relationship. Artists, who engage in sound, not only need to improve their sound quality and tone, and present with great virtuosity, but also should keep the art immortal, and teach valuable experience to others and better them. Singing is the art to create sound and image by human voice. It is the most direct and natural emotional statement for mankind to express real life, thoughts, feelings and wishes. It is the singer’s specific and accurate interpretation of music works to achieve harmony between sound and emotion by the full range of learning and practice, relying on skilled singing techniques as well as deep understanding and feeling of music works. Singing is the humorous, solemn, joyful, or and emotional content expressed by the singer via rich vocal technical skills and beautiful musical language, and is also the expression of life’s inner sentiment through secondary creation of the results of composer or lyric writer. As an important means of complete show of creative thinking, the ultimate goal of singing is to strive to accurately and vividly grant vocal works of life, thereby achieving the artistic effect of breathing the same are, sharing the common destiny with the audience.
