The Function Of Imagination In Singing

Imagination is a mental phenomenan,Which is taking objective subject in people's memories as the materials,and then creats new image by analyzing and organizing those materials.Although,the imagination in singing is taking social activities of people as objective materials as well,including humans subjective concept at the same time.Singers will form a relative sound image in their mind through inner imagination.And then,they will deliver similar sound to that imagination by singing skills.Therefore,this imagination has went through the whole singing process.This article mainly research the role of imagination in singing,the first chapter is the introduction summarizes the thesisstudies the status quo,the second chapter elaborated the characteristics of the definition of imagination and imagination,the third chapter to the fifth chapter respectively from the aspects of imagination in vocal music learning,singing emotion and practice singing aspect discusses the role of imagination in singing,chapter sixth conclusion summarizes the full text.The role of imagination in singing is irreplaceable.We need to take advantage of imagination for helping singers doing regulation during practices.This will prevent carring wrong singing method to the end,but doing iterative adjustment toward a right direction.Imagination also can help teachers teaching in the process of vocal teaching,such as simplifying complicated problems,taking full use of diversified imagination,linking theory with practice,and then improving the development of theories by doing practices,which win help singers getting progress gradually during singing.This thesis is aim to study "the function of imagination in singing" by analyzing several aspects in singing,like breath,affection and recreation,etc.So that expecting singers can deeply realize and understand the importance of imagination in singing and get higher level by taking good advantage of imagination.
