Hakka culture is a kind of regional culture with great traditional strengths which is based on fusion of Central Plains culture and native culture in southern China. It is an important part of Chinese culture. Meizhou in Guangdong Province, known as the "World of Hakka city", is the center area of Hakka culture. It is rich in original ecological Hakka cultural resources.If fully taping, developing and utilizing the resources of Hakka culture, transforming this abundant resources efficiently into tourism resources and strengthening the combination of culture and tourism, it will effectively promote the sustainable development of tourism of Meizhou. At the same time, when carrying forward Hakka culture, and protecting and developing the resources of Hakka culture, we will achieve the purpose of improving the overall image and taste of Hakka cultural tourism.Firstly, combining with the basic local situation of Meizhou, the paper presents the current situation of tourism in Meizhou, and introduces us the irresistible charm of Meizhou Hakka culture. And then it further analyzes the use of this available resources and explores how these resources transform into tourism resources.Secondly, it discusses the relationship between cultural tourism and Hakka culture, and further analyzes the value of cultural resources in the development of tourism, as well as the role of Hakka culture in the tourism development.Then based on Meizhou itself, it realistically putting forward the current existing problems which happened during the development of Meizhou Hakka cultural tourism, including the current situation that just a small part of Hakka cultural resources has given full play to tourism benefits, not the most. So it carries on the analysis of the reasons that includes the lack of enough understanding of Hakka cultural value, the lack of communication between the tourism industry and the relative Hakka cultural resources departments, and the absence of the finding of the best combination points of Hakka cultural resources and tourism industry in Meizhou.
