| According to the micro film ’Sentimental Mountain Age’, the thesis is a research onthree parts, the characteristics of micro film, how to make it and the post production of amicro film. With the main theme of ’Good Deeds in Hebei’, the film is about the life ofpeople in an old revolutionary base area, telling us the story of how cities drive theeconomical development of countryside. This micro film tells us about how the villagersfulfill their dreams for well being, giving us a impression of their honesty, kindness andthe anxiety of leading a better life. Before The filming, I watched many relative films andshort plays, focusing on the real meaning and humanity of these art works. Reckoning themain problems I may encounter during making a film and the prep work to be done, Ithink the art style of the film should be original which concentrates on the character ofmigrant workers and their leftover children. After a two week’s filming and a month’s postproduction, I have a deep learning of the filming devices and post production, combiningwith the technique of expression of a micro film. I applied EDIUS and FINNAL CUTfor editing the film. Through making this film, I have mastered how to make a micro filmand how to tone and edit it. It gives me a chance to master the professional knowledge andmost importantly I can put all the theories into practice. The research can be very usefulfor a beginner making a micro film. |
