According to the statistics ofYan Ke Jun, there are two hundred and ninety fiveepistolary styles from Qi to Liang Dynasty; the number of authors is one hundred and thirtyone. And there are one hundred and thirty four prefaces from Qi to Liang Dynasty, relating tothe fifty one authors. The paper has discussed the artistic features and literary thoughts byanalyzing these literature works. The main structure consists of the introduction、main bodyand the appendix.The introduction part includes the study object, the status quo of the research, theresearch method, and the research purposes.Chapter One: Discriminating some concepts from a stylistic point of view includesliterary style, epistolary style and preface; discussing the origin and development of epistolarystyle and preface.Chapter Two: Briefly discussing the theme and the main content of these epistolarystyles and prefaces. The theme of the epistolary styles includes interpersonal class, thelandscape class, Buddhism class, military and so on. The kind of preface mainly includes thepreface of poems, the preface of Fu, the preface of collected works, and other types. The maincontent of these epistolary styles and prefaces refer to art, children, and the person.Chapter Three: Analyzing these works to study the art features of the epistolary stylesand prefaces; discussing the emotional expression of these authors and their emotionalcharacteristics; observing the features of sentence and syntactic, and analyzing the rhythm ofthese works.Chapter Four: Starting from the perspective of Qi and Liang Dynasty book preface toinquire into evolution characteristics of its literature concepts. The content is divided into foursections: the first, discussing the Qi and Liang Dynasty book preface related to theories onfeelings and emotions from people’s inner hearts; the second, dealing with the relationshipbetween content and form concerning contemporaries of Qi and Liang Dynasty; the third, regarding to the new theories of Qi and Liang Dynasty book preface; distinguishing with thedifferent article styles, such as gorgeous and simple, and the stylistic consciousness of Qi andLiang Dynasty.Appendix: Enumerating the actual works including the epistolary styles and prefaces,and the lost epistolary styles; making a chronological table of partial works.
