The Research Of Sexual Culture In 《Shi Jing》

Literature is human studiesas well as the direct reflection of real life.For《Shijing》China’sfirst collection of poetry,in its three hundred poems, more than half of the contents involves themarriage, family,love and sex ethics.Those poemsshow us the people of that era’s marriage Lifeand emotional world in a bold, simple, rough, straightforwardmanner, it is of great value for ourunderstanding of the social life and historical culture.There are many research works to interpretate Shijing from ancient times,but nearly fewstudy it from the angel of sexual relations,from which the essay tries to analyze the relevant textof Shijing so as to have a comprehensive understanding of the ethics conception,ceremonialcustom,the sytem of philosophy and law in the pre-qin period;to reconstruct its true theme andoriginal meaning furthest.Because of Shijing’s creation age is old, regional inter dynamic range is bigger, and thusreveal a complex state in sexural culture aspect. In view of this, the author intends to divide itssexural cultural contents into the following parts.Introduction: In this part, author briefly do a simple introduction on sexural culture andsexual cultural content of Shijing, pointsout the reason of the topics, research significance andresearch value.The First Chapter: reverberation of ancient relics.In this chapter,author mainly introducesthe sex worship, reproduction worship and sex organs worship these three kinds of main forms,with the analysisof the hybridization, Robbing Wedding, Illicit Sexual Relation and otherinevitable sexural phenomena that occurred in the sex phase transition from primitive sexualconfusion to the civilization in Shijing.The Second Chapter: Viewpoint of Love in Shijing.Selects some representative love poetry toanalyze to show people’s true feelings and views on marriage and love in that age.The Third Chapter:Sexual Ethics in Shijing. Interpretate poems embodies the social genderrelations in the work, in orderto understandthe people’s ethical ideas.The Fourth Chapter: The Marriage System in Shijing. Discusswedding marriage systemandcustom in Zhou Dynasty.
