The national spirit is related to the survival and development of a nation. Chinesenational spirit decline since Song Dynasty has been a long time, resulting in China in moderntimes behind the development trend of the world. Chinese painting is the mainstream status offeminine consciousness occupies the painting has thousands of years history, it is theoutstanding representative of traditional literati painting. In contrast, reflects the nationalmasculinity of the Tang Dynasty and the Five Dynasties and the early Song Dynastylandscape has long been snubbed by the landscape in the north, few people study. And thecreation of contemporary painting is not optimistic, many painted flowers and women workfilled in every corner of the real painting, considerable work is too small. Therefore, in today’sreform and opening up today, how to carry forward the national spirit, show us the great spiritof the times, is a topic worthy of in-depth study. In view of this, this paper tries to do someexploration.This paper is divided into three parts, the first part is the preface. Including the problem,research status and existing problems, research purpose, research methods and so on foursections. The problem mainly elaborated the national spirit of the long lost due to weakeningthe country, contemporary art world situation is not ideal, therefore put forward by inheritingand carrying forward the landscape in the north of masculine beauty, to carry forward thenational spirit, showing the spirit of the times, in order to meet the need of development of eraproblem. Research status and existing problems mainly expounds the Tang and SongDynasties landscape in the north because few people research and on the brink of lostproblem. The main purpose of the study described the study of Tang and Song landscape inthe north is to reveal its positive significance and it has all some enlightenment oncontemporary art, to carry forward the national spirit, the spirit of the era objective. Researchmethod is mainly expounds some specific methods in this paper are used in the researchprocess. The second part includes the second chapter, the third chapter, the fourth chapter andthe fifth chapter, which is the main part of the. The second chapter mainly elaborates theconcept of the Tang and Song Dynasty landscape in the north is refers to the Tang Dynastyand the five generation of the green landscape, the landscape in the North Song Dynasty, andthe connotation of the national spirit of the Chinese nation has. The third chapter mainly elaborates the dialectical relationship between the painting style and the spirit of the times,and the spirit of the times. The fourth chapter is divided into three sections, respectivelyexpounds contemporary painting into the exhibition hall, the Tang Dynasty era of greenlandscape of contemporary painting inspiration, Five Dynasties and early Song Dynastylandscape in the north of the well-known contemporary enlightenment three questions. Thefifth chapter is mainly to talk about themselves on the landscape in the North brushwork andink method reference with his graduation creation. The last part is the conclusion.
