Development And Application Of Digital Ink Animation

From1960s to the late1980s, Chinese animation industry had created a unique ink-wash animation, on the basis of traditional Chinese ink paintings, which contains a rich cultural heritage, a unique image modeling style as well as the fun of drawing with pen and ink, and then Chinese School of animation was formed. Since stepping into21st century,, the development of computer graphics and related hardware, software, prompt way of animation, also there has been a fundamental change of forms of expression. The concept of modern ink painting animation is more open, modernity and interdisciplinary.Since stepping into21st century, the ink-wash animation became vigorous again and began to flourish with the rapid development of digital technology. This paper is going to study the concrete application of digital technology in the process of producing ink-wash animation from the perspective of science and art. And it also deeply discusses the difficulties in the process of digital production and gives solutions to these difficulties, such as digital simulation, motion of camera and non-photorealistic rendering.The application of digital technology in the production of ink-wash animation greatly improved the efficiency of the production, and enriched the film and television language in ink-wash animation and also broadened the display areas of ink-wash animation,such as:music, games and other new areas. Efficient software can improve the production of animation, enrich the forms of ink painting animation, improve the artistic quality. First, production process be digital, second, the emergence of the three dimensional animation also makes the ink for3d animation development, and individual independent creation.We should notice that under the influence of globalization, in order to win an international status, Chinese animation must adhere to the nationality of animation, and the industry must have a much more open attitude facing the commercial society, using industrial modes of modern animation to serve for China’s cultural industry strategy.
