Today, the animation industry in China’s development has made a series of achievements, in its full swing development, but also gradually entered a critical period of transformation and upgrading. For the development of the animation industry in several countries, the animation industry is a special structure mode, which is driven by IP industry. That is, through the animation works itself derived from the value of the related products created by the entire industry, the largest proportion of the whole industry, animation works itself, electronic resources sales or television,movie ratings brought about by the creation of profit but not the most important. In these countries, the output value of the animation industry and even occupy the entire animation industry output value of 70%-80%. Therefore, to form a mature animation industry chain, to promote the animation industry chain of a virtuous circle, taking advantage of the key period of the transformation and upgrading, the development of animation production is the most important.Due to the development of China’s animation industry is still in the initial stage,especially in the field of development rules and technical present situation and the relevant theoretical research is lagging behind, less industry has for research.Therefore the focus of this thesis topic will be the first to study put in Chinese animation industry and its derivative industry development present situation analysis and summary, and through the study of how the CG technology is applied to the animation derivative industry to improve the animation derivative product development efficiency, so as to reduce the cost, to obtain more economic profit, gave birth to a new animation industry profit model, so as to enhance the vitality of the Chinese animation market.In the first chapter, the research background and the status quo of the research are focused on the research value of the CG technology used in the animation industry.This paper briefly describes the research methods and ideas, and puts forward the key points, difficulties and innovations of the research.In the second chapter, the historical background and development process of the birth of the animation industry is summarized, and the 5 representative types and typical cases of the animation industry are described.
