On the background of economy development, competition in high education becomes more and more furious. It is sure that high education has its industry property. Be in the quick development, the Chinese colleges and universities face the competition of the increasingly vigorous education market, like the business enterprise, the university also needs his own brand image, making society public to produce consistent approbation feeling, strengthen the whole competition ability of the university. It creating good economic performance and social performance plays an important function in the development of business enterprise. As China’s market economy development and the reform of higher education system, higher education, an irreversible trend toward market-oriented colleges and universities to shape the brand image for the university’s own development as well as in higher education, gain competitive advantage in the market are extremely necessary. As the important component of high education brand image design, university publicity film play a vital role in displaying channel image, attracting people and promoting marketing.Each university has realized the significance of the construction of their education, in succession, to bring out their publicity film. These publicity films assume the attributes of variety, standardization and simplicity. Many of them have good quality playing a major role in appearing university style and promoting university image. But as the same time, university publicity film still exist problems. Firstly, most of university publicity film can not completely attract audience, because they are lack of creative and individuality. Secondly, publicity film can not keep effective unification with other ingredients of university packing. Some publicity films are well done, but they are out of touch with university programme content, so communicating effect is not good enough. In addition, publicity film exist a good deal of problems in distribution. They are played too few times or repeated too much and so on.In this paper, based on the colleges and universities brand image method, induces the position、contain、function to describe it’s design main factor、design skill、design concept and publicity film design and campus colleges and universities the definition of cultural construction, content, features, etc.. In order to achieved roughly in the plane design domain the digitized art study。The colleges and universities education arrives again grows strong this kind of complete process, find a best way to significance of the construction of their education, it have some kind of method meaning to prove the development of colleges and universities brand image publicity film design planning. The paper also describes some of the views and stressed the image of college-oriented design and construction of publicity film, the role and significance. The author cited the university’s school’s image in the design and construction of campus culture, and readers to think together about colleges and universities in order to image the design and construction of campus brand image, ideas and processes.
