| There is sometimes when confliction between people happens indaily life. During verbal communication, arguing, quarreling and even abusing arenormal. The research of conflict talks can be meaningful due to the harm thatconfliction does to the harmony in people’s relationship as well as to thedevelopment of the society. For helping people to find the peculiarity of conflictiontalks to deal with speech conflict more properly, the article uses quantitativeanalysis, qualitative analysis and comparative analysis on the corpus in televisionshows to analyze the architecture feature and mitigation strategies of conflictiontalks and the difference of confliction talks of different interpersonal relations. Thearticle also focuses on finding the way to reduce confliction talks from the angle ofrole conflict.A confliction talk is partitioned into three steps, which are initial step,confliction step and ending step, as the partition method former researches used.The qualitative analysis method is used to concretely analyze the way to forward theconversation in each step. People use language means, which is important to thedevelopment of a confliction talk and which we call the manage strategy ofconfliction talks, to control the talk progress. We sort them into mitigation strategyand intensification strategy to discuss the verbal methods to allay a confliction andto aggravate it separately. We choose conjugal relation, intergeneration, colleaguerelation and friendship relation, which are the main interpersonal relations, tocompare and analyze the difference of people in a confliction talk. We discoveredthat differences exist in the initial step and ending step in a confliction talk ofpeople in different kind of relationships by the analyzing the statistics of the chosencorpus. The pragmatic distance is the main reason that causes the differences. Wealso discover that gender factor is the main reason for the differences of people of asame relationship in a confliction talk. |
