This research takes college students as the study objects. There are five main parts in this paper:The summarize of the definition, correlated theory and research for negative emotion, anger regulation competence and aggression; invent a new scale of anger regulation competence; investigate the status of college students’ negative emotion, anger regulation competence and aggression by using The Aggression Questionnaire、The Positive and Negative Affect Scale and new invented Scale of anger regulation competence; try to find out the relationship among them; draw a conclusion and table some proposal.The results of this research are following:1. By using exploratory factor analysis, the number of possible factors reduces to four. We can confirm four dimensions of the structure of college students’ anger regulation competence.2. The analysis of data proved that the scale of anger regulation competence has good reliability and validity. And the confirmatory factor analysis show that the scale has good degree of fitting.3. Testers’ aggregate scores of negative emotion and anger regulation competence show positive-skewed distribution. There are no significant differences in gender in all of the three variables.4. There is a significant correlation among negative emotion, anger regulation competence and aggression. Anger regulation competence plays the role of part mediator in the relationship of college students’ negative emotion and aggression.
