Wang Yi’s Chuci Zhangju (hereinafter referred to as Zhangju) not only makesmang Songs of the South works compiled and issued in the material sense, but in thespiritual realm with some common sense quality, which are closely related with theunified interpretation under the guidance of the ideas of Yin and Yang by Wang Yi.His interpretations of the Songs of the South works have a common philosophicalfoundation, so that they have a significance beyond the spirit of Qu Sao grievances, influencing positively each other on top of the total flow in the meaning of Yin andYang thought, and become a community of meaning with new era’s characteristics.Zhangju on the use of the ideas of Yin and Yang is comprehensive, and a clearsystem of looming in the scattered interpretation. Previous undisputed ideologicalinvention, one of the most popular wave of thinking and philosophy of uniquepersonal knowing appreciate, all can be seen in it. For convenience, we will reflectthe Yin Yang thinking broadly into the understanding of the world, the discussion ofthe universe generating operation and the guiding principles of social life in this issue. The three levels slightly reflect the high degree of philosophy in this book and the factthat Yin and Yang thinking is regarded as truth in that era. We also can know theinterpreter(Wang Yi) how to transform the Songs of the South and how to face thenature, society and life from this paper.First of all, on the understanding of the nature and society, Zhangju regards theworld as a dichotomy of Yin and Yang, and insists that all things in the world can beused to distinguish between Yin and Yang. Dichotomy of Yin and Yang, in turn, fourpoints for Yin and Yang, combined with the Five Elements form the Analogy of theYin-Yang and Five Elements shrouding the nature and man. This is the ideologicalachievements of people in Han dynasty, obtained from their cognition of the world.Wangyi systematically uses it, based on the number " five ", with the evolution of theYin and Yang (Shaoyang,Taiyang,Shaoyin and Taiyin) as the main media, explainingall the behavior of Songs of the South heroes, including that they try every means toseek ideality, cultivate their morality and preserve their health. In addition to the"five","Nine" also is the digital system which Zhangju commonly uses. Zhangjuconsiders “nine” as Yang, explaining large numbers nouns associated with "nine" inthe Songs of the South. What’s more, it also interprets soul with Yin and Yang, whichis the fundamental of individual existence, extending the thought to the individual life and indicating the soul of Yang and Yin with a reasonable explanation of the ChapterZhaohun, Yuanyou. Secondly, the Zhangju continues the discussion of universeontology in Qu Yuan’s Tianwen. Generation and exist of universe in the world and aseries of issues were discussed, not only the Yin and Yang as the origin of the universegenerated, but also as to the existence of all things. Yin and Yang cause the movementof time, the size of the two Yin and Yang cycles in the Four Seasons, the endless flowof twelve o’clock, becoming the law of the World emulated. The Yin and Yang movemainly in two patterns:the aspect of Yin and Yang, a common sense between Yin andYang. Again, under the guidance of the Yin and Yang thinking, Wang Yi indicatesmany principles of personal accomplishment, interaction with others, political life andsocial areas of life: pursuit justice, move along the yin and yang, follow the changesof Yin and Yang to achieve the implementation of the great truth and harmony in theworld. Zhangju’s Yin and Yang interpretation has become a classical existence.Although scholars have different attitudes later, the fact that they are affected byZhangju is indelible. Flowing in the interpretation history of Songs of the South, theYin and Yang thought attaches to the Songs of the South works, beyond the barriers ofhistory, building a unique research perspective.
