This paper aims to analyze the confusable words from "HSK" Dynamic Composition Corpus for Korean students by contract analysis and error analysis, from the view of Chinese word meaning. By comparing with Korean students’mother tongue, find the reason. On the basis of that, the conclusion of this paper can promote the theory and practice development of Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language.This thesis is composed of six chapters.1.The first part is the introduction. The main purpose is to introduce the reason of the subject selected, the related research summery, the research methods, and the research target.2. The second part is aiming at discussing the determination of related questions. The "HSK" Dynamic Composition Corpus and the types and characteristic of confusable words, as well as the relationship between near-synonyms are discussed.3. The third part focuses on the confusable word meaning for Korean students. The writer describes and analyses the disyllable words of new HSK band four from HSK dynamic composition corpus. The writer also uses the way of comparing the Chinese words with the Korean words from the view of same, similar and different morphemes.4. The forth part covers the teaching strategy of confusable words for Korean students. Four kinds of strategy are discussed, namely the comparisons of morphemes, the comparisons of usage, the analysis of rational meaning and the color meaning.5. The fifth part analyses the teaching design of confusable words for Korean students, taking for group of confusable words as example, using the comparisons of morpheme and style.6. The sixth part is the conclusion. Summarize the conclusion drawn from the paper.It is noted that the confusable words are seriously affected by the transferring from their native tongue to Chinese. The author hopes this dissertation would provide with some reference for vocabulary teaching and textbook for Korean students, and also expect to do contribution to Chinese teaching for Korean students.
