Research On Culture Industry Development Model Of Dongguan

Developing cultural industry is an important way to realize coordinateddevelopment "Five in One", including economic construction, political construction,culture construction, social construction and ecological civilization construction. Inrecent years, central and local governments all pay high attention to the developmentof cultural industry. Due to the difference in the economic and social developmentsbetween different cities, they choose the different industry development mode. Basedon case study of Dongguan City, which was well known for its manufacture industry,this paper analysis the problems that Dong guan City faces and try to find the waysthat can help it achieve cultural development and prosperity, as well as its ownmethod to realizing cultural industry blossom.Firstly, this paper analysis the Dongguan culture industry development patternand its existing problems, and points out that the Dongguan culture industrydevelopment model divided into the following four characteristics: development ofcultural industry of Dongguan was appropriate to its city function position; Itenhanced the level of public cultural services that close to the masses demand andsupporting development of cultural industry; It implemented the culture introductionstrategy and "going out" strategy With the help of China international film&animation copyright protection and trade fair, or animation fair for short; It built theircreative industry parks by differential positioning and developed the emergingcultural industries. The existing main problems of Dongguan cultural industrydevelopment model included that it didn’t reflect cultural city strategic goals, didn’tfully rely on the Dongguan’s manufacturing advantages, and didn’t make full use ofcultural resources advantage. It also had no organic combination with science andtechnology and financial factors of high value-added. This paper argues that the aboveproblems may be due that overall strength of Dongguan culture industry was not stillstrong, and that the culture industry development position was not clear and the layoutis not reasonable, and low cultural consumption ability, the insufficient protection ofcultural resources, the lack of cultural talents, slow cultural industry investmentgrowth, and so on. On the basis of comparisons with cultural industry development pattern andsuccessful experiences of some developed countries such as the United States, France,South Korea, as well as domestic developed cities such as Beijing and Shenzhen. Thispaper explores Dongguan culture industry development model that is adapt to itscharacteristic. This paper points out that Dongguan can revolve around goals of fourcultural famous cities, that is the famous city on the national public cultural services,the national famous historical and cultural city, the famous city of national moderncultural industry and the Lingnan culture, to improve its cultural industrydevelopment model. the concrete ideas is that: relying on historical culture and theculture of Lingnan to develop culture characteristic tourism culture industry, relyingon the government guidance and support policy to develop the public service cultureindustry, relying on the market leading and industrial cluster effect to build a moderncultural industry system. In the end, Dongguan will implement an innovation modelwhich combines with resource support, government guidance and market leading.
