College Students’ Attitude To Death And The Relationship Between Trait-anxiety And Social Supports And Related Qualitative Research

The death manner is the manner of individual to dying this extraordinary event, is favoredthree ingredients comprised of the cognition, emotion and behavior. Domestic research in thisregard is just getting started,existing death attitude scales are the overseas meter translation,and there is no scale of college students’ attitude to death.This article in reference to Wong,Recker,&Gesser (1994) DAP-R table topic, on the basis of existing literature, combined withthe open interview information， has established the university student death mannerquestionnaire,and according to this tool, has launched the relevant research and qualitativestudy, the conclusion that reaches includes:(1) university students death manner questionnaire of establishment,7dimensions, hasgood reliability and validity.(2) the university students have the death manner of the cognition acceptance, the emotionacceptance is more difficult, are afraid the accidental death.(3)university student death manner has sex, grade and branch difference. The femalestudents compared with the male students to be easier on death to have the manner that theapproach acceptance and escape acceptance, the fear of accident death is also high. Thehigher grade students was easier to hold the approach acceptance to newcomers, but also morefear of death. The liberal arts students compared with the science student to be easier on thedeath to have the death manner that the approach acceptance and escape acceptance.(4) The higher the trait-anxity degree is, the easier to negative death manner of escapeacceptance，death avoidance and the fear of death. The higher the society supports is, the lessinclined to hold escape acceptance.(5) trait-anxity not only immediately influence the death manner of escape acceptance, andfled through the subjective support indirectly influence the escape acceptance, and directeffect and indirect effect achieved obviously.(6) the internal factor of the fear of accidental death of the university students mainly has the personality, health and the faith to the next life, the external reason mainly has the macroenvironment and experience.
