Studies On Interpretation Models With The Guidance Of Eco-translatory Theory

As an international occupation, interpretation has been paid more and more attention and studies of interpretation is becoming more and more diversified. Making a review of the previous studies of interpretation, it has undergone from the perspective of linguistics, psychology, sociology, cultural anthropology and communication. Along with the above, the scopes of the interpretation studies has been extended, meanwhile, it has made some achievements and it is becoming more and more mature.It has been over50years since the beginning of interpretation studies. As we know, the studies of interpretation paradigms mainly focused on perspective of humanities, for example, with the perspective of Interpretive Theory and the perspective of Cognitive Science, etc......With the profound studies of ecology, a growing number of scholars and experts started to recognise, to understand, to study interpretation from the perspective of ecology. It will provide new theory and new research ideas for the study of interpretation paradigms with the application of Eco-translatory.The thesis is a research for the interpretation paradigms based on the new theory----Eco-translatory. It puts an emphasis on the integrity of the whole process of interpretation. It redefines the interpretation with the concept of ecosystem, then it puts forward the new interdisciplinary concept which is named the interpreting ecological circle. With the guide of Eco-translatory and the application of Darwin’s Adaption&Selection theory, the thesis creates a new triangle mode for interpretation paradigm. Finally, the thesis makes an explanation on the new paradigm through three dimensional transformations:the language dimension, the cultural dimension and the social dimension. It is about how the interpreters can accomplish the perfect adaption and selection in the environment and how they solve the problems during the process of interpretation.Though only10more years has passed since the development of Eco-translatory, as a new interdisciplinary theory, it has played an important role in the translation research with its new vision, new thought, new method. And it has made significant, positive effect on the practice of translation. Above all, the study on interpretation paradigms with the guide of Eco-translatory has not only made new explanations about the interpretation process, but also expanded the scope of interpretation paradigms study. Besides, the study has deepen the depth and breadth of interpreting studies while it will have a certain academic value and practical significance for interpreting studies in the future.
