Shen Zhou is one of the representative figures of the Wu Culture in MingDynasty, His poetry, article, book, painting are very powerful. Shen Zhou’s paintingplay a decisive role in the Ming Dynasty, is the fathers of Wu literati paintings. Butbecause of its civilian identity and painter position limit, the calligraphy has littleeffect. Although Shen Zhou’s calligraphy as his achievements influence, but in thehistory of calligraphy also occupy a certain position. His calligraphy is the firstdedicated to learning the song, he is Wu calligraphers predecessors. The currentacademic research achievements, for his painting poetry is very rich, but has alwaysbeen concerned about his calligraphy is very small.
