The Daoqing Shadow Play’s Folk Culture And Art Concept In Huanxian Town, Gansu Province

The article mainly studies about the Daoqing shadow play in Huanxian town,Gansu province. Focus on acting of folk activities, and influence of cultural folk activities on design and art modeling of shadow play, and explore the shadow play’s art origin and Huanxian shadow play’s art modeling character. Second is to study about making craft of shadow play, doing fieldwork research from the perspective of the protection of intangible cultural heritage,observe its confusion, problems and try to find solutions.The article emphasizes the folk art ideas especially influence on modeling design of character. Shadow play design of character is blended in a lot of academic factors, such as face shape performs characteristics of characters, hints the fate of characters. Chinese art has a more stylized and symbolic characteristics, these characteristics drops osmosis of folk concepts, especially the folk art, it is based on the folk custom culture. The second chapter focuses on analyzing folk concept of shadow play and its influence on shadow play arts history and art modeling, and extended to the comparison of Chinese and western cultural art these kinds of arguments, and received the conclusion that the meaning of the folk art is not only in the art itself, but also a faith of life, a survival wisdom which peculiar belongs to Chinese spirit and temperament. The second is that all shadow play performances mixes with folk culture. The idea of folk art, acting program and even taboo, from beginning to end, from content to form are filled with folk customs and beliefs. The author put acting program, the content of the form in the first chapter to describe, the content of the concept of folk will be expressed in the second and the fourth chapter. The third point is to research a significant artistic feature which is named by hell concept of shadow plays, because no matter the content or the origin of shadow play has deep root which is connected with subternatural being, the80%of drama boxes in Huanxian town are genie shadow play boxes. Of course, our research is not to promote it, but through the script of the shadow play to explore its cultural and artistic value, to analyze the origin of the shadow play and its educational functions. To prove the shadow play is a kind of way to civilize people, spread the loyalty, filial piety, benevolence, righteousness, propriety, wisdom, expresses the ordinary people’s emotion. The fourth point is to research the technology of shadow play, especially to record and protect the core skills of shadow play that about to be lost, and through the way of field survey, conclude the accomplishment and obstacles are facing during the protection of shadow plays. And in the meantime try to find solving measures, here with the sincere hope this article can be beneficial to the protection of intangible cultural heritage.
