| The composer Shi Fu was one of the most important composers in Chinese modern music history. His works are numerous, including songs, opera, ballet, symphony, piano music and other genres. The creation of Xinjiang music is an important part of his whole musical achievement. In his Xinjiang music works, the three Xinjiang Suites are masterpieces. Among them, Xinjiang Suite No.2won3rd Prize for the1986Shanghai International "Chinese and Western Music Piano Composition and Contest" and Xinjiang Suite No.3won the2nd Prize for the1989" Xinghai Cup" piano contest. The three woks both in the melody, mode, and organization of material, or to deal with rhythm are worthy to be researched.This thesis is divided into four sections. The first chapter is about the composer’s life and introduces the three Xinjiang Suites. The second chapter is the analysis of the theme tune and mode scale, will make a brief analysis of Xinjiang style melody and Xinjiang minority mode scale. The third chapter is the analysis of rhythm, will carry on the analysis to the rhythm, tempo, and research how is the composer use the Xinjiang music rhythm characteristic to practical. The fourth chapter is about the harmony technique analysis of the three Xinjiang Suites, is also the core part of this thesis. This chapter will analysis different use of the technique of harmony in the works, including the use of chord material, harmony, mode and tonality analysis etc. The last part will make a summary of the three Xinjiang Suites, contact with the style analysis between works.Through the overview analysis above-mentioned aspect, the thesis will try to understand the works more deeply, and understand more about the exploration and innovation of the national development of Chinese multi-sound musical creation, and try to make a valuable academic thesis. |
