"Dream" Creative Notes

Polystylism was born in a creative concept of the second half of the20th century, originally proposed by the Russian composer Alfred Schnittke in1971. The features of polystylism is to blend a variety of musical creative styles approach through technical means together, can quote materials of different musical styles, combine different creative approach and through multi-style juxtaposition contrast, constitute music the main context of development, highlighting meaningful work.In this paper, the author use the chamber music-String Quartet "dream" for the study of texts, through theoretical analysis and interpretation of the work, to realize the style of the complex phenomena objectively, to generalize the western music styles and ethnic music style language, to re-explore the meaning and value style and status and influence in the music development.Thesis is divided into three parts: The first part is the introduction, It expound the "dream" creative reason and significance of the topic, complex features stylized musical language style and polystylism of "Dreams" and the present condition of domestic research polystylism.The second part is the main part of the paper, mainly research the comprehensive technical study of "Dreams". It includes the development of techniques for thematic material, style features melodic, musical structure logic, structure and style of harmony, tonality characteristic morphology of creative techniques and other factors.The third part is a summary of this creative practice, including the summary of the creative process, creative ideas and self-evaluation of works.
