The national chamber music as a new genre,emerged in the middle and late20 th century in China,which full absorbs modern concepts and technical means on composition in its creation with its root still in Chinese tradition;In terms of ensemble in western music,with more flexible choice of music instrument,offering a bigger stage to show Chinese unique folk music.These years,Chinese national chamber music has been committed to make renewal and self-improvement on creation through new thinking and new technological means,gradually exploring a unique way with Chinese characteristics.The composer Gao Weijie dabbles a wide range of genres in his music creation,including national chamber music and other kinds,all achieving good artistic effects with a considerable high value in art.The article takes Gao Weijie's national chamber music as the research object,selects his three works: Shao Music I(1990),The sound of wind(2010)and Life in Mountains(2016)according a time line from19 th century to 20 th century,and explores them from various aspects,thus summarizing the creative thinking characteristics of Gao Weijie's national chamber music.The analysis is carried as follow: The first is based on the collection of literature resource to comb the relationship between the author's background and his innovation in a main thread through human to work.The second is to find out the “personality” of each work,bring out their respective vivid features in the text analysis of the three works.Considering the “personality” of each work,the last is to comprehensively summarize them,reveal the traditional connotation throughout,and analyze the composer's creative thinking in national chamber music,hoping to give some insight into the current creation of national chamber music in China.
