Research On The Classification Of Distinguishing Words Based On The Language Corpus

Regarding the classification of distinguishing words,different scholars havedifferent definitions according to their study methods and inclinations.Considering thesyllable,Zhu Dexi divided them into two categories,single syllable and doublesyllable;Lv Shuxiang and Rao Changrong differentiated distinguishing words:singlemorpheme and polymorphemic;taking the function of gramma into consideration,QiHuyang classified them in three categories:the word can not bring “de” whenmodifying a noun,the word must take “de” when modifying the noun and the generaldifferent word (modifying a noun with or without “de”).This thesis comparesdistinguishing words of the version of Qi Huyang with which in the sixth edition ofContemporary Chinese Dictionary and analyzes their veriations.According to thestandard of Qi Huyang,the thesis classifies distinguishing words based on the researchCenter of Peking University Corpus Linguistics.This thesis is composed of five parts.First is introduction which demonstratesthe present study and the target, method, process of the research.The main idea is contained in the second and third part which define thecategories of distinguishing words and give it an accurate definition,also introduce themethod of classification.At last takes the method of Qi Huyang,classifiesdistinguishing words in the sixth edition of Contemporary Chinese Dictionary basedon the language corpus.The fifth part is a conclusion. It summaries the whole research and reveal itsdeficiency.
