More than30years ago, Ann Hui as a representative of the director of Hongkong "newwave" movement in the line of sight of people, the original movie language form lets peoplefind everything fresh and new.After long years, she never stop to try, work along both lines,in-depth exploration from two aspects of form and content, shooting all kinds of movies, tocreate a colorful world of film, her talent is widely recognized, repeatedly won awards atvarious film, known at home and abroad. Ann Hui will experience and understanding of lifeinto the film, preference for writing ordinary people living conditions, showing a concernabout the underlying feeling knot, show a strong feature of the realistic style.This thesis is divided into three chapters to Ann film artistic style is discussed, the maincontent of each part is as follows:Introduction,according to Hongkong "new wave" background,summarizes Ann Hui ’sgrowing process and the creation background, status quo and carding Ann Hui film study,explain the purpose and significance of this study.The first chapter focuses on an underlying concern feeling knot. Mainly through theregional space and the fate of the characters and the background of the times closelycombined with two aspects, to illustrate the relative stability of the underlying concern visionof Ann Hui.The second chapter focuses on the analysis of two typical narrative characteristics ofAnn Hui in the movie, the multiple points of view and the mental and emotional narrative,toreveal the auteur innovation, advancing with the times of philosophy.The third chapter mainly carries on the analysis of audio-visual language, reading fromthe film documentary film and voiceover sound processing characteristics, to keep an eye onAnn Hui’ flexible use of film language skills.
