Jin Zhaoyan And Zhe-Xi Group

Jin Zhaoyan played an important role in Zhe-Xi Group which was formed in YongQian peiod. He wrote seven volumes of Zong Ting Ci Poetry.419of his ci poetries were recorded in Quan Qing Ci Poetry (YongQian volumes).Cheng Tingzuo,who was an member of Yan-Li School,commented that Jin Zongting does well in both poetry and ci poetry,also,his ci poetry was at the first class.This thesis takes Zong Ting Ci Poetry wrote by Jin Zhaoyan as the object of study.The subject matter and style of Jin Zhaoyan’s ci poetry were discussed.The relationship between the ci poetry wrote by Jin Zhaoyan and Zhe-Xi school was analyzed,which was made by the following aspects:the association with the important poets in Zhe-Xi School,the thery in ci poetry,the theme and the style.This paper includes three parts:introduction,main body and epilogue. The introduction part briefly narrates the significance of the selected topic,the object studied in this paper,the rearch status,and the main innovation points.The main body consists of five chapters in which analysis was made in detail.Chapter one:Official career of Jin family,which was one of the upper classes in QuanJiao city,Anhui province,is invested.The Investigation is based on the QuanJiao county annals.The influence made by Confucianism is discussed,and the close relationship between the Jin family and the Wu family which includes Wu Jingzi is set forth briefly.Jin Zhaoyan’s resume is formed according to the "sequel fix si ku".In this paper,his lifetime is divided into three parts by the key time which is he begins to be an official and he resigns.Chapter two:Great attentions are put on the communications between Jin Zhaoyan and the poets belonged to Zhe-Xi School in the medium period The related poets can be classified to Yangzhou Group,Wuzhong Group and others.Chapter three:It is discussed from Jin Zhaoyan’s ci poetry opinion and the comments on him made by others.The relationship between Jin’s ci poetry theory and Zhe-Xi school’s is analyzed,which is based on Jin Zhaoyan’s opinions,such as honour ci poetry and honour patriarchal dynasty.It is demonstrated that Jin Zhaoyan belongs to Zhe-Xi School.Chapter four:The subject matter in Jin Zhaoyan’s ci poetry is taken as the study object.Attentions are put on three aspects,such as recording ci poetry, meditating ci poetry and traveling ci poetry.It is found that Jin Zhaoyan did some imitations on Zhe-Xi School but also left himself a free space.Chapter five:Jin Zhaoyan’s ci poetry style falls in the category of clear the elegance and peaceful LengJuan.Three aspects contribute to these two characteristics,which are Zhe-Xi School in the medium period,political environment and the personal dilemmas.
