Freedom has always been the highest problems of philosophical studies, whichfocuses and deeply reflects the thinking of philosophers. The first part is to discuss theconcept of freedom. This part is represented by Plato and Hegel’s criticism tounderstand freedom from the perspective of epistemology views. They believe thatfreedom is certainty of knowledge and obedience, in the end to the plight of thetheory of rational. In Kant’s critique of practical reason put forward that practicalreason is man’s free will. And the theory of rational is not in the true sense of freedom. Therefore, to grasp the concept of freedom must be understand in practical level. Thesecond part of this paper through the discussion on the practice concept in thephilosophy of Aristotle and Kant to highlight the real connotation of the concept ofpractice, namely the practice concept is related to free itself. From the perspective ofBuddhism, the technology of meaning perspective is to understand the practice. Thethird part of the article tells that practice is the foundation of Marx’s concept offreedom and starting point. Mainly from three parts to discuss, one of Marx’s practiceconcept is based on the mode of existence of the reality of life. The second ofreasoning based on human social relations, Marx realizes the man’s all-roundpersonality freedom, and free conscious life activity of third person freedom is theessence of life practice.Absorbed Hegel Marx’s idea of thinking about social reality, Marx’s concept offreedom is from a practical point of view of freedom to overcome the pastone-sidedness and limitations. This understanding of "practice" is the reality of thenature of reality and the reality of human society. It shows two aspects of humannature that human labor to create the essence, but human nature is in reality the sumof all social relations. The outside is the abstract freedom of human life back topeople’s lives specific overall life. Marx actually follows the way of thinking tounderstand the practice of freedom. Freedom is not given in advance, but it is acquired generated. To achieve true freedom, it is necessary to realize the essence ofman’s reversion. In the field of practical philosophy, the essence of social life is onthat practice, but also man’s inner life practice and based on the presence of theendogenous foundation. The concept of freedom of Marx is twofold, on the one handnot only it gets rid of the natural limitations of its own, on the other hand it isconsciously abided by the objective necessity to engage in productive activities. Andit is also a kind of freedom of self-determination. People can decide the activities andthe objects for themselves, reaching reality through the practice of self-creation.While there is self-creation, the nature of people is to achieve their ideal strength andtrue life.
