The Research Of "Yidian+VP" Structure In Modern Chinese

In modern Chinese,“YiDian”is used very frequently, the verb and its related structureare the key in modern Chinese grammar study. This paper focused on the structure of“YiDian+VP”. Firstly, we stated the predecessors’ research about “Yi Dian”, thenintroduced the research from different parts of “VP+YiDian” and “YiDian+VP”. Westudied the structure of “YiDian+VP” from the semantic and syntactic, looking forward toa further research. Specific content is as follows:Firstly, in traditional research we think “YiDian” can not be directly used before theverb, but it can be used in negative sentences directly, while we have a different opinion.We think it could be used in positive sentences. We used Shen Xiaxuan’s theory to expiainthe reasons for us，and further identified the syntactic nature of VP. We indicated thestructure of “YiDian+VP”is predicate object. On this basis, we analyazed the combinationsof the structure of “YiDian+VP”and it’s predicate. We discussed the VP’s syntactic andsemantic feature.Secondly, according to negative nature and“Quan Liang Ken Ding Fou Ding GuiLv”, we determined the negative nature of “YiDian+Ye+Bu/Mei+VP”. In this structure,VPis intransitive verbs mainly. We discussed the influence of Bu and Mei for VP. Comparedthe difference of“YiDian+Ye+Bu+VP” and“YiDian+Ye+Mei+VP”.Thirdly, we gave a description about “Yi Diandian” and “YiDian YiDian”. Wecompared the difference from their syntactic and semantic. We introduced VP’s syntax andsemantic feature in the structure of “Yi diandian/Yi Dian YiDian+VP”.Finally, we used Mr Shen’s “Xin biao ji theory” to analyze “YiDian+VP” thoroughly.Discribed the asymmetry of this structure. Any discourse contains both subjective andobjective sense,“YiDian+VP” structure also has subjective sense, we described thisstructure’s subjective forms.
