With the rapid development of globalization, the exchanges of culture, trade and business between China and other countries are much closer. Language serves as the bridge connecting different countries and English as the most widely spoken language in the world plays an important role in international business. Interpretation emerges as the times require to promote business communication and cooperation between countries of the world. As a branch of interpretation, business English interpretation becomes a necessary part of international business and takes a vital role in the world. The quality of business English interpretation influences the process of global trade and business. The precondition of effective business English interpretation is to know the language feature of business English and the distinct differences between English and Chinese. This paper mainly probes into the difference that English is a hypotactic language while Chinese is paratactic. First, the paper analyzes the difference that English shows hypotactic prominence and Chinese shows paratactic prominence in linguistic structure based on different cultures and thinking patterns, and the impacts of the difference on English and Chinese languages. Then, the paper illustrates that English lays stress on structural cohesion and Chinese on semantic cohesion, in terms of morphology, syntax and text. Finally, the paper, from the perspective of Hypotaxis and Parataxis, comes up with four business English interpretation strategies on the basis of the Interpretive Theory and they are:"Amplification vs. Omission","Flexibility vs. Rigidity","Completeness vs. Ellipsis" and "Implicitness vs. Explicitness".
