Polyphone is one of the special cases in Chinese language. It will become the choke pointfor Indonesian students who don’t have the tone in their language while studying Chineselanguage. But, in order to learn Chinese language well, we should be able to master thepolyphone, this would be one step closer to reach the goal to improve the level of Chineselanguage.Author in the view of Indonesian teachers and students in teaching and learning polyphoneconditions as the main object of study, used questionnaire to conduct the survey analysis, findout the problems that are existing in teaching the Chinese Polyphone and the reason ofmisreading, and also putting forward about learning Chinese Polyphone strategies. Furthermore,this thesis using “Chinese Proficiency Test Syllabus” as auxiliary research object, based on theerror analysis theory and cognitive psychology, stratified and analysis Polyphone, proposingwithin the theory basis about teaching Chinese Polyphone strategies.This thesis is divided into four chapters, the main content of each chapter points are:Chapter1: Introduction. This chapter expounds the background of the research and the aimof the paper, also summarizes previous research points on analysis of Chinese Polyphoneresearches. Summarized the related research work of this paper, including the research content,practical theoretical basis, research methods, and the last is the innovations of this thesis.Chapter2: The Inspection and Classification of Polyphone with “Chinese Proficiency TestSyllabus” as an example. This chapter provides statistic and classified the Chinese Polyphonewith “Chinese Proficiency Test Syllabus” as an example.Chapter3: Survey and Analysis about Indonesian Students in Mastering PolyphoneConditions. This chapter provides a detailed analysis and summary based on the questionnairedescribing Indonesian teachers and students in teaching and learning Polyphone conditions.Chapter4: Teaching and Learning Strategies for Chinese Polyphone. This chapter indicatesteaching and learning strategies according to the result of the analysis on chapter3.At the end, the epilog summarized the key point of this thesis. Meanwhile, pointing theinadequacy of this research.
