The main research objects of this article are "danshi,keshi,buguo,zhishi",which have corresponding relationship with " but\yet\however" in English.They are called contrastive discourse markers.Based on a corpus of oversea students’ Chinese spoken language,We has carried on the related research.The discourse function of contrastive discourse markers is the main research content.We analyze and classify the corpus, summarize the usage in Chinese spoken language teaching material and a corpus of oversea students’ Chinese spoken language.Then we do the specific analysis of the errors of contrastive discourse markers’ acquisition,and we explore the reasons of the errors. At last,we put forward the teaching suggestions in textbook compilation and classroom teaching.This research is based on four hypotheses.First,there are obvious tendencies in the contrastive discourse markers’ using of International students.Second, under the guidance of interlanguage,the using characteristics in international students’ Spoken Chinese of contrastive discourse markers are very different from native speakers.Third,the using characteristics in international students’ Spoken Chinese of contrastive discourse markers are very different from the using characteristics in Chinese spoken language teaching material because of the influence of language environment.Fourth,the teaching materials we select have a better reflection on the discourse function of contrastive discourse markers.The paper will start a research from five aspects:The first part of this research mainly introduces the significance of this paper, research status, research methods and the source of corpus.The second part is about the setting condition of four contrastive discourse markers in teaching materials.We make a detail research of the contrastive discourse markers’ discourse functions under the framework of Yao Shuangyun(2012).In the third part, we analyze the discourse functions of contrastive discourse markers "danshi,keshi,buguo,zhishi",and classify the discourse functions.Compared with the discourse functions and frequency of utilization in teaching materials and native speakers’ corpus,we draw a conclusion of the using characteristics of contrastive discourse markers in international students’ spoken Chinese. The fourth part analyzes the students’ oral Chinese errors of contrastive discourse markers,explores the reasons of the errors,puts forward suggestions about writing the Chinese spoken language teaching materials and teaching contrastive discourse markers for foreign students in class.The fifth part summarizes the main content of this research,and points out the defic-iency of this study.
