From2000to the present, Chinese network novel film adaptation has gradually come into being the artistic features and the communication pattern of its own in nearly fifteen years. However, there is no study so many related on this topic. View of this, after the simple carding of the adaptation development course, based on the adaptation phenomenon and the analysis of the specific successful adaptation texts, the article is talking about the network novel movie adaptation’s reason, focusing on the characteristics and its influences. Then, some thinkings are made on the development and the future construction of the network novel’s film adaptation.This paper is divided into five parts, including introduction, three chapters in the text and conclusion. The introduction mainly elaborates the significance, as well as the subject and method of this research. On the reviews the concept and development status of network novel and the adaptation, the first chapter of the text takes a mainly discussion on the potential cause of the adaptation from the network novel’s characteristics and common ground in the network novel and the film.
