Modules of Employable Skills referred MES began in the seventies of the last century. Its most remarkable feature is to combine related knowledge which needs to learn in a certain time to form a module on the basis of Modular teaching mode. MES emphasis practice process and students’learning ability. This teaching model has been introduced to many disciplines, especially in the higher vocational education, computer education and other skills-based subjects. Modular teaching model has been widely used in teaching in addition to the language teaching, especially in teaching Chinese for foreigners. For language learning, the most important thing is to provide the students more practice in a limited time in the class so as to increase students’practice and improve their language skills. However, the modular classroom teaching mode is focused on the cultivation of students’ language skills and communicative competence. Therefore, the study of modular teaching mode in teaching Chinese for foreigners is with great importance.The thesis is divided into six chapters, in which the first chapter illustrates the research significance of modular teaching model used in Chinese teaching for foreigners, and introduces the research status and achievements of this teaching mode. The second chapter defines the modular teaching mode in detail, and points out that teaching Chinese as a foreign language in the mode of modular teaching has the characteristics of comprehensive, practical, interactive, and student-centered, etc. The third chapter simple introduced the "Introduction to Chinese speak" which belongs to Feiyue Chinese learning series of teaching materials."Introduction to Chinese speaking" which write with the modular teaching concepts, sticks to the HSK examination, guides listening and speaking teaching. In the fourth chapter, the author selects the fifth lesson "Will you have time tomorrow" in the "Introduction to Chinese speaking" as the case of classroom teaching.By recording and transcription the process of the class, the author analyzes the teachers’teaching methods, observes the student’s learning style and learning effect in this teaching model based on the five teaching links of new courses introduction, new words explaining, contents extension, text explanation and exercise with the aim of making a deep understanding of the teaching activities in this mode. The fifth chapter analyzes the statistics so as to understand the extent to which students adapt to this teaching mode and analyzes the effects of this teaching mode. Based on the fifth chapter, chapter six draws conclusions that the modular teaching mode of Chinese teaching is of high efficiency, and it focuses on students’ comprehensive skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing.
