After Ibsen and Stanislavski,German famous Bert Brecht, is another dramatist who has had an impact on Chinese drama. Based on episches theater (also known as nichtaristotelisches Theater or dialektik theater), Brecht accesses China. Without Huang Zuolin’s theory promotion and stage practice in later1950s and early1960s, Brecht can’t enter into China successfully. After the cultural revolution of the1980s, on the base of Gao Xingjian and Xu Xiaozhong’s endeavor, Brecht system replaces Ibsen-Stani system, breakes the situation that the later dominates Chinese Ju Tan for a long time, and injects new vitality for Chinese contemporary Ju Tan. From Brecht, Chinese dramatists learn that the drama effect has Verfremdung in addition to Katharsis, the drama can give a person feeling edify, also can let him feel the happiness of thinking and the drama also has narrative in addition to dramatic. But In different periods and different environments, people’awareness of Brecht is different.we should not only see the progress of Brecht, but also see his limits at the same time. Do not accept totally, do not totally negative. The paper is for the purpose of exploring Brecht’s influence on Chinese contemporary drama, studies the characteristics of Brecht drama system, analyzes the background of Brecht’s entering China, takes the coordinate point of Huang Zuolin, Gao xingjian, Xu Xiaozhong, to see Brecht’s specific influence on Chinese contemporary drama, finally makes a theoretical thinking to the transformation of Chinese contemporary drama.
