With the rapid and sustained development of economic in China, a lot of foreign countries are longing for Chinese talent which growing worldwide trend of "Chinese fever", more and more foreigners appreciate to learn Chinese. In this context, in order to let the people of the world to better understand China to learn Chinese language and culture, Hanban/Confucius Institute Headquarters organized a series of activities to the international promotion of Chinese language in recent years, the most influential activity is——"Chinese Bridge" Chinese Proficiency Competition.Based on the general description of "Chinese Bridge" competition development history, the writer especially selected the semi-finals and finals (six in total) of the twelfth2013"Chinese Bridge" competition as the main research content, contestants from different countries as the main object of study. Through competition videos, the writer counted statistics about contestants’native cultural background and language mistakes phenomenon, analyzing from the lexical, semantic and pragmatic analysis by cultural differences in intercultural communication as the purpose, with the language and cultural knowledge and common sense two aspects to think about how to improve the teaching skills and strategies and to further promote Chinese international education teaching training.The first chapter is the introduction. To give the general description of cross-cultural communication and introduced the relationship between culture and language. Try to explain the link between the subject and the "Chinese Bridge", discourses the research background, content, methods and the meaning of the study. The second chapter introduces the development and status of the "Chinese Bridge" competition of the Introduction, content aspects of the contest. By contrast with the previous game session, focusing on2013"Chinese Bridge" Competition, and analyzed the advantages and innovations. Based on Mother tongues and cultural backgrounds of each contestant, the writer mainly from the language elements (including Chinese characters, semantics, idioms, phrases, grammar etc.) and cultural common sense (including literary works, folk culture, etc.) two aspects to present, and reflect the highlights and errors in different characteristics of the country.The third chapter introduced the conception for cultural differences in intercultural communication. From the perspective of cultural differences under analysis vocabulary, semantics, pragmatics three types of bias phenomenon, pragmatics subdivided into a different mode of thinking, cultural values, customs and cultural differences generated by the phenomenon under analysis.The fourth chapter outlines the revelation "Chinese Bridge" competition on foreign teaching Chinese, from vocabulary (including new words, synonyms, idioms and phrases), and inspiration for teaching cross-cultural class, in order to give some useful suggestions for foreign teaching Chinese.The fifth chapter is the conclusion of the bright prospects of "Chinese Bridge" competition in the future. Hope the study would promote the harmonious development of Chinese language in the world.
