Dialect Phenomenon Research In He Dun’s Novels

Hedun is a famous writer of Hunan province in the mid90’s,basing on the quality and quantity of works,he had took up very important status of the time.Many Changsha dialects used in his novels,such as nouns,verbs and adjectives,made Hedun novels have a srong smell of Hunan province.The paper studies various Changsha dialects in the language from Hedun fictions, aimed to analyze the characteristies of using dialects in his novels and make an exploration on how to create figures through absorbing the local language properly and efficently,to show local life,to stick out local characteristies,thus to enrich the expressive force of the works. The paper can be divided into five parts as follows:Chapter one is introduction. It introduces He Dun’s life and novel writing experiences. Then we elaborate the research present situation, content and significance. Last we explain the methods and the source of language materials.Chapter two is mainly about the general situation of how Hedun using dialects in his works. By overall reading of Hedun novels, sorting out which is Changsha dialect, then after statistics, comparison and analysis,derive the reason for the use of dialects in his novels and three stages, and summed up the presentation style and the using features of Changsha dialect elements. Last, we analyze the defect of using dialects in his novels,also,give some segesstions.Chapter three shows the usage of Changsha dialect and its performance capabilities,which is very important. The paper mainly analyzes nouns, including food names,appellation,place names,and verbs which include general verbs and phrase verbs,the last is adjetives and state adjetives. Based on these dialect elements, we mainly elaborate the effect and performance function.Chapter four focuses on the special vocabulary of vulgar words and the "ghost" words. This chapter analyze the "turtle","egg","treasure" vulgar words and the "ghost" words to show the language features of He Dun’s fictions andt crudeness side of Chang Sha dialect.Chapter five is the conclusion. We summarize this paper, describes the main ideas and innovations of this paper,then put forward deficiency and further study of the paper.
